Economix Active is a fully steam extruded complete feed, over 90% digestible in the small intestine. Improving the digestion of feed in the small intestine lowers the amount of feed fermented in the large intestine or hind gut, decreasing the amount of acid, heat and gas produced.

In comparison, the digestion of raw grains in the small intestine is poor, ranging from 21% for barley to 29% for corn. This may result in undigested grains being fermented in the hind gut, which can cause hind gut acidosis and lead to laminitis, colic, tying up or other veterinary emergencies.

Equitak Excel horse wormer

Equitak Excel is a broad spectrum all wormer which contains three potent active ingredients; Abamectin, Oxfendazole and Praziquantel.

Abamectin and Oxfendazole are from two different drench families and combined treat and control gastrointestinal worm parasites: large and small strongyles, large roundworms, (both sensitive and resistant to Abamectin), lungworms, pinworms and stomach bots.

Praziquantel treats and controls all tapeworms found at the junction of the small and large bowel.

Remember to combine worming programmers with good pasture management hygiene. It is good idea to treat horses with a combination product like Equitak Excel as a quarantine drench.
